Road Trip!!

My friend Holly Spilsbury tied the not at the end of December in San diego (below). So my childhood friends and I decided to take a very quick, 30 hour, road trip to San Diego to see it all take place. It was so much fun!!! My friends have told my numerous times how much fun a girl-friend road trip is, and now I know why. I HIGHLY recommend it. It was such a blast and we are better friends for spending 12+ hours in the car.
The wedding was wonderful and I do have to say that the San Diego temple is so unique and special. The reception was gorgeous as it was in La Jolla on the beach. Very fun. I am so proud of Holly and hope that she and Spencer have a very happy life together. (My friends above are Kyla (Miller) Dutcher, Tiffany (Wilken) Moser, Jamie (Wold) Snow, and me.)

Happy New Year!!

Well, here we are. Here is our sweet little family. It's amazing to me to know that I have three children. Me! . . . and I don't feel any different then I did in High School, and yet I have a husband and three beautiful children. Time amazes me; how quickly it passes. I am grateful for the year behind us and the new one ahead of us. I pray that we will have just as many happy memories. Hope all of yours is filled with much happiness.

Bapa and Darlene.

During Christmas Brandon, the kids, and I visited my grandpa (Bapa). He is my last grandparent alive. I don't really have a close relationship with him, but I am trying to give my children the rare opportunity to know their great grandpa. We enjoyed our time with them and hope there are many more to follow.

I met "Superfoot" Bill Wallace!!

I had the great honor of meeting "Superfoot" Bill Wallace. He held a seminar on fighting techniques and I jumped at the chance to go. For those of you who don't know who he is he is one of the classic martial artists of our time. He has an amazing legacy and if you google him you will read all about it. It was really exciting and I learned a ton!!!
